     Micajah Southard Sr was born on 21 March 1767 in enroute on ship from NJ to NC.10,7,8 He was the son of Isaac Southard and Sarah Renne. Micajah Southard Sr married Martha Perkins, daughter of Robert Biggan Perkins and Elizabeth (Betty) Lollar, on 6 January 1795 in Lincoln, North Carolina, USA.11,7,12 Micajah Southard Sr was buried circa 1855 in Goodwin Cemetery, 7 mi north of, Sparta, White, Tennessee, USA; The original headstone was replaced in the 1930's and shows Micajah as a "son of William Southard".
